St Roch’s football club has a long and proud tradition on and off the field. Since its foundation in 1920, beyond its successes on the field, the club has consistently engaged in charitable and good works, supporting local communities, groups and individuals. The St Roch’s FC Charitable Trust has now been set up in order to support and further the excellent work coordinated by the club, allowing St Roch’s FC to focus on winning further success on the park.
The home of St Roch's football club, James McGrory Park, is based in Glasgow's North East which, in terms of both income and employment, is statistically one of the most deprived areas in Glasgow.
The aims of the Charitable Trust are:
to help prevent or relieve the impact of poverty
to help improve both physical and mental health
to help develop the local community and bring a sense of belonging
to increase participation in sport
to provide recreational facilities and organise recreational activities for all members of the community.

Annual Report & Accounts Submission
The St Roch's FC Charitable Trust have submitted our first annual report and accounts to the Office of the Scottish Charities Regulator (OSCR). The details can be found on the OSCR website.
The trustees were happy to approve the report and accounts at our inaugural annual general meeting. The agenda for the AGM can be found here.
As noted in the annual report, with the help of National Lottery funding, a key highlight for the Trust during our first year was the ability to support the development of youth football activity. At present, we are supporting a 2014 age group (15 players) and a 2016 age group (8 players), each with three registered coaches. We look forward to helping this the expand in the future.
